In 1989, local shareholders bought out British American(Britam). In 1990 the name was changed to Spectrum Insurance Brokers Ltd. In 1996 DBP Insurance Brokers was acquired, and in the following year new management and shareholders came on board.

The procedure and requirements for coverage:
  • Valid drivers licence
  • Vehicle documents most be current
  • Completion of proposal form
  • Payment of [premium
  • Issuance of cover note
Types of coverage offered:

Third party: Protection for motorists for their legal liability to any third party’s vehicle or property as a result of an accident.

Comprehensive: Protect the motorists vehicle against fire, theft and accidental damage in addition to any third party’s vehicle or property as a result of an accident.

Other: Motor trade internal and external risks particularly for garage owners to protect the vehicles whilst in their custody or control.
Payment Flexibility:
Premium financing available on request or ½ payment and balance in 30 days of premium.
