- For commercial vehicles the certificate is valid
for 6 months.
- For private vehicles the certificate is valid for
1 year.
- The entire process must be redone when renewing
the certificate.
- Renewal may be done up to 30 days before the date
of expiry, or on the date of expiry.
- Any changes made to the features of a vehicle must
be noted on the documents. This may result in the
re-certification of the vehicle. These include: colour,
body type, and engine).
- Any errors on your documents regarding the description
of your vehicle must be corrected at the depot as
soon as it is discovered, as this may render your
document invalid.
