The Private Driver's License Test Includes:

• The Road Code Questionaire(written test) - Showing knowledge of the rules of the road. Displaying the ability to identify and interpret road signs.
• The Yard Test - Stopping, starting, and moving off on a slope, without rolling back(hill start). Reversing,making left and right turns through resticted lanes. Parking from two angles in a restricted area.
• The Road Test- Applying the road code, showing courtesy to other drivers, displaying consideration for the safety of self and others, and also handling the vehicle(cornering, braking, use of traffic lights and stop signs, turning vehicle and traveling in the opposite direction, hand signals and use of mirrors).
